AI anomaly intelligence for product teams

Explain and recommend.
Not just detect.

PulseBase watches your product metrics 24/7, tells you why they moved, and tells you what to do next. Works with PostHog and Mixpanel.

daily_signups dropped 38% vs. 7-day baseline — Monday only
Why it happened: The /signup page returned HTTP 500s from 00:14–06:20 UTC on Monday after a deploy. New user acquisition was effectively zero for 6 hours.

Every PulseBase alert has three layers: what moved, why it moved, and what to do about it.

The /signup page returned HTTP 500 errors from 00:14–06:20 UTC following a backend deploy at 23:58 Sunday. During that 6-hour window, 0 new users completed registration — the missing signups account for essentially the entire 38% day-over-day gap. Sessions to /signup continued arriving (bots + retries), but form submissions failed silently. A rollback at 06:20 restored normal conversion. Users who hit the error were not retargeted.
  1. Add a smoke test to your deploy pipeline that hits /signup with a test payload and asserts HTTP 200 before marking the deploy healthy. This catches sign-up regressions within 60 seconds of ship.
  2. Run a targeted re-acquisition campaign to the ~158 users who hit the broken page (identifiable via session replay). Offer a friction-free re-signup or a personal outreach email — they already had intent.
  3. Set a PulseBase alert on signup_errors_5xx with a 5-minute window. The Monday anomaly would have fired at 00:20 UTC instead of being discovered at stand-up — a 6-hour earlier warning.

OAuth in under 5 minutes. Select the KPIs you want monitored — event counts, unique users, or custom properties. No SQL, no warehouse, no engineering ticket.

02

We watch every KPI on a 5-min cron

PulseBase polls your metrics every 5 minutes and compares each value against a 7-day rolling baseline. Any deviation above 15% triggers the pipeline — no manual threshold-setting required.

03

You get an alert with the why and what to do

Email and Slack/Discord alert lands in seconds. It contains: the exact metric and deviation, a GPT-4o-mini explanation of the root cause, and 3 ranked recommendations — each with a 👍/👎 to tell us if we got it right.

No dashboard-diving. No Slack thread. Just a decision in your inbox.
